About Us

I have a real passion for sewing and fabrics and have been self employed for over 30 years, making bespoke curtains, blinds, cushions, and other soft furnishings for the general public with most of my work being by word of mouth.

I have my wonderful mother, Lavinia, to thank for this, as she was constantly making clothes for myself and my sisters. I would be helping by turning the sewing machine wheel while she was feeding the fabric through the machine. No electric machines then, thank goodness for technology!

With the help of my talented daughter, taking the photographs and coming up with some great design ideas, my tech wizard son introducing me to the world of computers and my supportive husband, I have had an established Etsy Store for the last 9 years and have just opened my own Online Store. (How exciting!)
